| Active membership in the 23rd Military Police Chapter is open to all who served in an assigned or attached status during any of the periods with the Americal Division, its military police platoon or the 23rd Military Police Company when those units were part of the active Army. This includes World War II (1942-1945), Korean War/Panama Canal Zone (1954-1956), Vietnam War (1967-1972) or the Global War on Terrorism ( 2005- ). Eligibility for membership also includes those who served with Task Force 6814 and Task Force Oregon. Branch of service is immaterial. To be eligible to seek an office in the chapter or to vote on chapter issues, you must also be a current member of the Americal Division Veterans Association.
